wwiw?

This past week has been delightfully chaotic.
I finished being an RA, moved into a new apartment,
and began training for my summer position.

In the midst of all that,
Dillon and I ventured to Franklin, North Carolina
for a weekend of gem shows and grandparents.

So in the off chance that you're keeping up with my blog,
and are disappointed that I don't have a new WWIW,
I apologize from the bottom of my heart.

Stick with me, more pictures to come.
OH! And last week's post was at
Friend's Antique Store on Central Avenue in Knoxville.
Cheers.

where was i wednesday? 003

Hey all you Knoxvillians,
have you ever driven by this sign?
Better yet, have you ever ventured inside?
Check back next week for the name,
cheers.

I read this quote aloud, and the man inside said
 "Yes! When you're here, you're a friend."
I asked him his name, as a new friend should.

He replied "Rick. And that there's Kenny."

Tori Caplenor, one of my dearest friends, explored with me.
"Look at this grandma. Look how metal."

"The Original Sex Rock - it has an f'in hole in it."
Clever, right?

This might be the most interesting thing I've ever picked up.
We weren't entirely sure why it appeared to be a flask
because after attempting to uncork it,
I turned it over and noticed a music box knob.
Sure enough, twisting it produced a twinkling melody.
Do you have any idea what this is?

Last week, I was at Nashville's Flea Market.
The reactions to "May I take your picture?" made me smile.
Like I said, stay tuned for details on this store.

fun on a friday.

I have a strong attraction to the first Friday in May.
The weather is perfect, and people are out to play -
there's no way you can't love it.

We celebrated Rowan's birthday with burgers, beer,
and the obvious, birthday cake.
Rowan is the blonde lady on the right
(Meg's on the left.)

Matt grew a strawberry.

I know, I know, this is a repulsive picture.
But hey, do you like seafood?

Happy twenty-first birthday, you beautiful lady!

Where Was I Wednesday - 002

Here's round two!
This one is much more recognizable,
assuming you've been there.

Last week, I was in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee
with my old pal Jamie Estes.
